This Ticino hill landscape ranges from the Gulf of Agno on Lake Lugano to Monte Lema. Picturesque Ticinese villages, narrow mountain lanes and vast chestnut forests define the region, which is ideal for hiking and biking tours.

Nestled in the foothills of Mont Blanc is the Pays du Saint Bernard, the gateway to Italy. The legendary Hospice du Grand Saint Bernard and its dogs symbolise the welcome and human warmth perpetuated over centuries by the Canons of the Grand Saint Bernard.

In the heart of the Valais Chablais, the Region Dents du Midi lies in the middle of the large Portes du Soleil ski area. The mountain village of Arolla in the Val d'Hérens welcomes you with its surroundings of glaciers and four-thousand-metre peaks such as Mont Collon and the Pigne d'Arolla. It is the starting point of the Haute Route and offers you glacier hikes and skiing fun until spring.

In the heart of the Vaud Alps, the Leysin-Les Mosses-La Lécherette ski resorts not only have 100km of groomed pistes between them, but also impress with many other activities.

The Biosfera Val Müstair nature reserve is a little world of its own on the other side of the Ofen Pass. With its lush green meadows and well-kept villages, it provides a contrast to the untamed nature of the nearby National Park.

The Geneva region is located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. It is known for its rich cultural diversity and the beautiful landscape around Lake Geneva (Lac Léman).
