Description

From Sedrun Salins, you take the gondola to Cuolm da Vi. In rough, high alpine terrain, the path first climbs to around 2,320 metres and then runs down to the Catrina Flow Trail. The descent fun now begins: covering four kilometres and 300 metres deep, the flowing trail runs across bumps and hollows, goes around steep bends and crosses wooden bridges. A glorious mountain panorama is visible at all times. Do you feel very sweaty? Then take a dip in the cool water of the Lai Catrina, very close to the route. The trail itself ends in Caischavedra.

Caution is advised on the single trail from here because you are on the Senda Pauli high trail, which is also used by hikers. The path is known for its variety of flowers. It is a stunning route by bike, and requires plenty of technical skill on some sections. Once you arrive at the treeless viewing mountain of Bostg (Piz Plaun Grond), a superb all-round view opens up: Piz Ault and Piz Acletta tower up in the north, and on the other side is the Piz Medel with its glacier. You catch sight of the huge monastery of Disentis in the valley.

A very flowing descent takes you to Alp Mises dil Bostg. It then becomes very technical until you reach the forest road in Prau Sura via Mumpé Tujetsch on the way to the Segnas farming community. It is not far from here to the destination in Disentis. Its townscape is characterised by the impressive Benedictine monastery, which was founded around the year 700. From here, you can take the postbus to the Lukmanier Pass and the start of the next descent. You take the pass road to the Centro Pro Natura Lucomagno. The former hospice consists of a modern hotel with a restaurant, and offers an extensive cultural programme in summer. It is not far from here to Campra, where the stage ends.

An enjoyable tour includes the careful planning of the same. Please inform yourself in advance at the local information center about the route and weather conditions. Depending on the season and weather conditions, this route may be blocked or interrupted
