The beautiful hilly landscape around Langnau in Emmental is characterised by lush meadows, quiet forests and breathtaking views of the tops of the Bernese Alps and the Jura mountains.

From spring through to autumn, the sports runs and tracks make accessible a wonderful walking area, with walking trails and hikes the extend right up to an Alpine altitude. The main attractions of this resort are the peaceful landscape of the Jura and the fresh, scented air of the extensive forests.

Siders (French: Sierre), pleasantly situated on a number of hills and nestling among vineyards, is a small town in the Valais blessed with a great deal of sunshine. Wine-growing and cultural events are both of great importance here. Thanks to its central position, Siders is also an ideal starting point for lots of excursions.

Silvaplana is the lively, young “Trendspot“ in Engadin. Surrounded by pristine nature and embedded in the wide Upper Engadine Lake landscape, the recreational paradise has become an international destination for sports enthusiasts.

The three mountain villages of Brigels, Waltensburg and Andiast form a compact and family-friendly holiday region in the Surselva’s Anterior Rhine Valley (Vorderrhein) area.

You reach Belalp easily by cable car from Blatten in Valais. At 2,094 metres, you can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, the Hexenland children's area, the 7-kilometre sledging run, winter hiking trails, and in summer hikes with views of the Aletsch Glacier.

The water melts from our glaciers and after a long journey through layers of granite emerges pure and fresh from our faucets. In the hiking-paradise Rothwald and Rosswald is where the water is traveling through the said layers right now.

St-Luc and Chandolin are situated on the sunny eastern slope of the Val d'Anniviers (Eifischtal) and enjoy a majestic panorama. Spectacular scenery, attractive walking country and the ultra-modern astronomical observatory will keep boredom at bay.

Switzerland’s largest upland moor, in Central Switzerland between Rothenthurm and Biberbrugg, has been successfully preserved. The broad moorland landscape is an important conservation area for plants and animals, but also a fascinating place for relaxation and adventure for visitors.

Grimentz, an authentic mountain village in Valais, is renowned for its picture-perfect old centre and panoramic views of the crown of peaks – from the Matterhorn to the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, and Dent Blanche. The sports and leisure area Atzmännig near the gates of Zurich offers fun leisure activities for the entire family. In the summer numerous attractions lure visitors to the region. High above Lake Lucerne and near Brunnen, visitors will find the village on Morschach on a sun terrace. It is quickly reached from Lucerne, Zug and Zürich.

A slightly undulating plateau at an altitude of 1,000 meters above sea level, defined by large pastures, spruce and fir forests as well as characteristic whitewashed individual farms that have their barns and living quarters under the same roof: these are the Jurassic Freiberg Mountains.

The family-friendly holiday region of Lungern-Schönbüel is on the Brünig Pass halfway between Lucerne and Interlaken.

The Biosfera Val Müstair nature reserve is a little world of its own on the other side of the Ofen Pass. With its lush green meadows and well-kept villages, it provides a contrast to the untamed nature of the nearby National Park.

Anzère lies on a sunny terrace at 1500m above the Rhone Valley, only 15 kilometres from Sitten, the capital of the canton. It emerged as a winter sports centre in the 1960s but, with its beautiful views over the Rhone Valley and the Valais Alps, Anzère is also wonderful walking country in summer with interesting tours along historical irrigation channels known as suonen.

Situated in the heart of Gruyère, the city of Bulle is the administrative capital of this largely agricultural region and has a wealth of attractions to appeal to all tastes.

The village is regarded as one of the most beautiful in the Upper Engadine and enchants with its intact nature of an authentic Romanesque village. Here, numerous patrician houses such as the Chesa Planta proudly line the way, many of which with typical bay windows and picturesque etchings, and mysterious alleyways invite you to explore the moving past.

Brienz looks like it could have been lifted straight out of a picture book. Be enchanted by the richly decorated wooden chalets in the village centre, by the glacier-blue lake and by the beautiful mountain backdrop. Discover Lake Brienz along with the Giessbach Falls and the Brienzer Rothorn.

The name Bivio means "parting of the ways" and is inseparably bound up with two ancient Roman passes, the Septimer and the Julier. The highest village in Surses with just 260 souls to its name, Bivio has what must be the most extraordinary linguistic make-up in all of Europe, or so one scholar of note has concluded.
