Hatha yoga is accessible to everyone, whatever their profession, social background, religion, age or sex. In Sanskrit, it means the union (yoga) of the energies of the body (Ha) and the mind (Tha), of the sun and the moon, of yang and yin energies.
Yoga gives you a supple, strong, healthy body, a balanced mind and a serene, dynamic personality. It helps to improve breathing and posture. The aim is to bring attention back to oneself, to be in the here and now, and to plunge into a state of meditation for the duration of the class.
Through in-depth breathing exercises, hatha yoga encourages mental calm and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. This work helps us to cope better with the stimuli of our daily lives, manage our emotions and reduce stress.
After just a few sessions, you'll feel a profound sense of well-being, which will have an impact on your daily life and your relationships with others.
