Do you need a break from everyday stress and would you like to have an individual vacation experience in the heart of the mountains of Central Switzerland? Then you are exactly right with us at the Hotel Sonnwendhof. Our hotel is the closest accommodation facility to the valley station of the mountain railroads. You can also reach the train station and the village center in just a few minutes on foot. All of our 28 rooms are furnished in alpine style and offer a wonderful view of the Engelberg mountains Hahnen, Spannörter, Brunni and Titlis. Every morning we spoil you with our rich as well as regional breakfast buffet. In the evening we recommend a visit to the cozy restaurant of our sister hotel Hotel St. Josefshaus Engelberg. The way to the restaurant leads you through the picturesque village street and takes about ten minutes.
The Hotel Sonnwendhof is centrally located in Engelberg just a few minutes walk from the train station, the village center and the valley stations of the mountain railroads.

This gem of a hotel is situated in a quiet yet central position. The hotel has a cosy sitting room, lovely hotel bar, spacious garden and a new sauna complex. All the rooms have balconies offering panoramic views. Conference area with modern technical infrastructure for approx. 30 persons.
