The unique Hotel Appenberg which is managed by the family Mosimann offers himself for all kind of seminars and workshops. The cosy function halls suit also for family parties, wedding dinners and business events. Teaching, studying and relaxing far from the daily hectiness and at the same time being only a 20 minutes drive from the capital – this is for what the small Appenberg-village consisting of 12 historic houses stands. The hotel disposes of 80 beds in 40 single and double rooms, 1 Restaurant with Swiss cuisine as well as various banquet and conference halls for groups from 2 to 100 people. Possibilities to organise original leisure programs (For example: producing cheese, excursion on horse carriages, Appenberg olmpics games, torchlight hike with aperitif, guided tour through the Appenberg, playing traditional game “Hornussen”).

Hotel Appenberg - a place where tradition and modernity are united. This most charming hotel village of the Emmental at a very idyllic location is only a 20 minutes' drive from Berne/Thun. The Hotel Appenberg is composed of 12 historic buildings, in which you find 40 hotel rooms, 1 restaurant and 10 conference and banquet rooms. Free Wi-Fi in the whole hotel, data projector in all the conference rooms. In the warmer period of the year, the beautiful garden invites you to spend some time outside, either to work or to relax. Where possible, meals are served on the sunny terrace. Interesting all-inclusive offers and propositions for group activities. You will find us in a quiet and central location in the Emmental in the heart of Switzerland, in the immediate vicinity of the federal capital Bern and the airfield Bern-Belp. From nearby public transport stations we provide a pick-up service with our own hotel bus. This uniqueness of diversity can not be found anywhere else in Switzerland. Highway A6 direction Thun-Interlaken, exit Rubigen. National road in the direction of Münsingen-Thun. Münsingen: turn left in the precinct. From here you continue towards Langnau-Lucerne to Zäziwil. After the sign Zäziwil at the first street turn right: direction Aebersold-Oberhünigen-Appenberg. After the sign Oberhünigen at the first street turn right. You take the railway line Bern-Lucerne to the station Zäziwil or Konolfingen. We will pick you up there. Please let us know your arrival time.
