Richterswil Youth Hostel is located in a former mansion house directly on the tranquil shores of Lake Zurich. Once a residence for the landed gentry, this stately building also housed a bustling silk factory, adding another layer of interest to its unique charm. The youth hostel and the town of Richterswil are the perfect place for celebrations, seminars or relaxing holidays. Situated directly on the shores of Lake Zurich, it’s a great place to celebrate, hold a conference or simply relax and enjoy some time off. Incidentally, you will often hear locals abbreviating Richterswil to “Richti”.

Wedding

The majestic building used to house a silk factory and now offers cosy rooms with lake views, a beautiful hall and a charming terrace for its guests. The superb location on the shores of Lake Zurich offers the perfect backdrop for a special kind of wedding. The youth hostel in Richterswil not only provides the ideal event venue, but also offers a range of lovingly prepared culinary options. The youth hostel can accommodate around 80 guests in different room categories, from double rooms with washbasins to 6-bed rooms with shared WCs and a shared shower. Guests can celebrate to their heart’s content in the hall or on the terrace. A sumptuous breakfast buffet is included in the room price.
