Casa Clau is situated in the picturesque Bündner Oberland (Surselva region), in Rueun (Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland), on the edge of a sheltered valley basin not far from Flims-Laax-Falera and Obersaxen. In winter, it takes about 15 minutes by car to reach Flims-Laax-Falera, the mountain railways in Obersaxen or those in Brigels/Waltensburg. The endless slopes offer something for everyone, whether it’s carving in Obersaxen, deep-snow skiing in Brigels or freestyle and tricks in the world-famous Laax Snow Park, home to the world’s largest halfpipe. In summer, we’re the perfect base for cyclists, whether on motorised or non-motorised bikes. Welcome to the home region of the 2022 Mountain Bike World Champion – come and explore his home trails, or climb the Lukmanier and Oberalp Alpine passes on your road bike or motorbike. You can drive right up to the house; the railway station and PostBus stop are about 200 metres away. Rueun is an ideal starting point! In summer, there are various walks to choose from (Panix Reservoir, Rhine Gorge, Jörgenburg). Rueun’s football pitch can be reached via the covered wooden bridge and the forest path along the Vorderrhein in about 10 minutes on foot. A group accommodation with a playground, swings and table tennis tables, as well as a football pitch for training camps, are available on site. Weekly rates are for accommodation only and exclude service charges. Weekend rates include all service charges.
