The Chalet Bärgblüemli is situated in the centre of Saas-Almagell in the Valais (Switzerland). 5 minutes' walk from the house is the first ski-lift of Saas-Almagell. If you prefer the skiing slopes in Saas-Grund or Saas-Fee, a ski bus will get you there (5 minutes from the house). In winter, however, there are still plenty more possibilties: 26 kilometres of cross-country skiing fun, curling, ice-skating, ice-hockey, tobogganing, winter walking on 15 km of trails and high-altitude skiing tours.
Bedrooms are on the first and third floor, inbetween is the landlord's apartment. The dining room is on the ground floor.
In summer, there is the sports centre (10 mins away), 2 tennis courts, a football pitch and a playground. In Saas-Fee, 6 km away, you will find a leisure centre which offers you indoor pool, sauna, solarium landscape and a fitness room.
The Saas valley boasts more than 300 km hiking trails of all grades of difficulty. Or just have fun on the lawn in front of our house.
