The performance with Anita Ekman and Larissa Ye’padiho Mota Duarte is based on close collaboration with indigenous thinkers and artists from Brazil. Drawing on the history of rock art and archaeological ceramics in the Amazon, they explore the significance of the body and territory in indigenous worldviews. The performance examines how the Tukano people understand body painting and the Rio Negro petroglyphs.
