Intro
Get out your craziest costumes! The Nendaz carnival under the Olympic Games theme will be unforgettable.
This long-standing tradition takes place every year on Mardi Gras in Nendaz and is an event for the whole family : costume competition for the kids presented by a clown, crafts workshop with Cheesy (book your spot at Nendaz Tourisme), mini ice disco, torchlight descent and parade are the highlights of the festivities. The theme changes every year and thus inspires the decor of the event and the participants' costumes. Dressed up or not, take part in this celebration full of joy and high spirits!
PROGRAMME
14:00-17:00 : Children's costume contest, mini ice disco at the Haute-Nendaz ice rink, with complimentary hot chocolate and a visit from Cheesy.
14:00-16:00 : Craft workshop (registration required at Nendaz Tourisme)
18:45 : Parade with floats and Guggenmusik bands (Les Chenegaudes et Los Diablos) from Square Place to the Gondola Station Square
19:30 : Arrival of the torchlit descent at the bottom of the Tracouet slope, featuring a ski instructors' show
19:00-20:00 : Complimentary hot drinks served at the Gondola Station Square
