Charmey Paper Art – Biennale 2026
Overview
Intro
Charmey Paper Art is a biennial exhibition and competition of contemporary paper art organized by the Musée de Charmey. The 12th edition will take place from June 28, 2026, to January 10, 2027.
RadianceThe theme chosen for this edition is “Radiance.”
“Radiance” can evoke light, surprise, vitality, but also fragility: the shatter of glass, the sparkle of laughter, the crackle of wood, or the glow of light…It suggests materials, reflections, textures, and colors. The word carries contrasts within it: it can be poetic, raw, intense, or delicate. It opens up a field of visual, sensory, and emotional interpretations.
