Intro
Museum zur Geschichte der Stadt Wil
Unter der Leitung von Stadtarchivar Werner Warth und Grafiker Fulvio Musso wurden Themenbereiche wie «Stadtentwicklung» oder «Leben in Wil» mit Themeninseln wie «Feuer und Wasser» oder «Industrie» gestaltet. An verschiedenen Orten laufen Filme zu den Themen, können Fotografien von Hand durchgeblättert werden oder Quellensammlungen eingesehen werden. Die Umsetzung der Themen mit Hilfe von Industriegestellen wurde nicht nur aus Kostengründen gewählt, sondern auch im Hinblick auf Veränderungen gefordert. Dank der Mithilfe von vielen Freiwilligen aus den Reihen der Ortsbürgergemeinde Wil konnte die Neueinrichtung kostengünstig durchgeführt werden, aber auch heute noch sind Freiwillige unentgeltlich für die Aufsichten einsetzbar.
