As part of a unique collaboration between Château d'Oron and the Musée Suisse du Papier Peint de Mézières, artist Sève Favre is developing a two-part project based on plant species.
Through this double project, the artist proposes a critical and poetic re-reading of plant life: no longer as a simple décor or resource, but as a living memory, at once witness, actor and revealer of past and present power dynamics.
The exhibition at Château d'Oron examines Europe's fascination with exotic plants, through the accounts of naturalists and the archives held in the castle's library.
