Intro
End-of-Season Event: Hirsute: Pop-Electro Elegance in the Heart of Valais
While the Valais music scene has its must-see gems, Hirsute is one of the most captivating. Driven by the close bond between Valérie Fellay (vocals, compositions) and Alain Wirthner (guitar, arrangements), this band with its catchy name cultivates a magical, spellbinding, and deeply intimate musical world. With four critically acclaimed albums, the duo has left its mark on the history of French-speaking Swiss music. Winners of the Caprice Festival New Talent Award and the Valais State Cultural Encouragement Prize, Hirsute has also seen its singer’s talent recognized with the title of “Best Female Artist” at the Victoires de la musique Suisse Romande. From the acoustic purity of French-language songs to the modernity of electro-pop, the group has successfully taken its artistry far beyond our borders, all the way to the legendary Printemps de Bourges festival. On stage, the band takes the audience on a soaring sonic journey where Valérie’s crystal-clear voice blends perfectly with Alain’s intricate guitar loops and arrangements. For their upcoming concert in the intimate setting of Emotions Musicales, Hirsute has a major surprise in store for its audience: the premiere of a brand-new piece. A timeless interlude, marked by renewal and pure emotion.
