Sylphe received the Audience Award for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in *SPATZ UND ENGEL* at the Gandersheim Cathedral Festival in Germany. She has been dedicated to interpreting the songs of this iconic figure for eighteen years. Her concert program, *L’AUTRE PIAF*, presents a selection of wonderful and lesser-known Piaf chansons that hold some astonishing surprises. Accompanied by Roberto Vacca from Naples on the accordion and Nicolas Venner from Metz on the piano, the emotionally charged Sylphe performs, among others, “Les amants d’un jour,” “Bravo pour le clown,” “Mon manège à moi,” “L’homme à la moto,” “Je m’en fous pas mal…”—and shares fascinating anecdotes from Piaf’s life in the form of direct quotes, drawn from her autobiography and the biography written by her half-sister Simone Berteau. Of course, her biggest international hits are also included.
