Three Facts About a Fire
A bread oven catches fire. At first glance, this might seem like a trivial incident. Yet, in this play, this incident becomes the starting point for a story that is both strange and fascinating. Against the backdrop of this event, three characters attempt to recount what happened. But each has their own version, their own memories, and their own interpretations. The stories intersect, contradict one another, and sometimes complement each other. And that is precisely where the magic happens.Perched on rocks, eyes closed and precariously balanced, the performers create an astonishing interplay of speech. Their voices intertwine with remarkable precision, forming a sort of reimagined ancient chorus—funny, offbeat, and resolutely contemporary. Little by little, the story seems to come to life on its own, like a creature made of words, rhythms, and contradictions. An unexpected theatrical experience, where the form becomes as captivating as the story it tells.
