Siku
Overview
Intro
A Crazy Conference on the Arctic and the Inuit
Heading north. Way up north. Where the ice seems endless, where tales of exploration intertwine with the realities of the peoples who have inhabited the Arctic for generations. Siku takes the form of an illustrated lecture dedicated to the Arctic and the Inuit. Well… in theory. Because as the presentation progresses, the adventure threatens to take over. Amid a desire to educate, a few blunders, unexpected twists, and sometimes haphazard attempts at collaboration, the lecture gradually transforms into a full-fledged expedition. With humor, self-deprecation, and plenty of curiosity, the show revisits the golden age of polar exploration while challenging our perceptions of other cultures. Part clown, part reflection, Siku invites you to break the ice, embrace uncertainty, and embark on a journey that’s as funny as it is unexpected.
