Swiss National Day - Avenches
Overview
Intro
The traditional celebration of the National Day is an opportunity for the inhabitants to meet and share a moment of conviviality
Children's entertainment, concerts, poetry show projected into the arena, restaurants and bars on 1 August on the Place du Casino in Avenches
5pm: doors open
6pm: ‘Echo du Châtelard’ alphorn
7.15pm: official part
7.45pm: concert by the Orchestre Evasion
9.30pm: mini torchlight procession for children
10pm: poetic show by artist Cédric Cassimo, projected into the arena
10.30pm: continuation of the concert
