Intro
Victor A. Schiro aus Südkalifornien, die Schönheit der Natur zeigen, stellt seit den 90er Jahren international aus. Lebt mit Familie seit 2023 in Liestal BL. Cafe e Butea Scuntrada.
In Ftan wird der Maler Aquarelle und Ölbilder ausstellen, die verschiedene Motive des Engadins, sowie auch Vögel und Forellen, die im Tal einheimisch sind. Nach Master an der CalArts als Hauptkurator bei Gemini in LA, Arbeit mit Rauschenberg, Johns und Hockney zusammen.
Seither ausschliesslich Malerei, zahlreiche internat. Auszeichnungen.
Er malt in einem traditionellen, akademischen Stil und versteht sich selber eher als Naturalist, inspiriert von seiner lebenslangen Auseinandersetzung mit den wilden Landschaften der kalifornischen Sierra Nevada, sowie den Schweizer Alpen
