Urban, unique and inspiring. This is the 4-star Design & Lifestyle Hotel Nomad in the middle of Grossbasel. It’s here where locals and guests from around the world find their temporary home. Modern architecture in combination with a homely design characterise the hotel with a unique charm: from the gym with sauna, to the Eatery and Bar, right up to the Penthouse Suite. The heart of the Nomad is the lively Eatery. Here the food tells the stories. Stories of distant lands and hidden, adventurous places. Dishes – citations from places, which the urban nomad enjoyed on his travels – bring the guests of the Eatery together as they linger at the bar late into the night. The hotel benefits from excellent connections to the public transport. The main train station and the airport can be reached within five respectively twenty minutes. The exhibition centre is situated only five minutes away. The art museum and the city centre are easy accessible by foot within a few minutes.

1950년대 지어진 아파트 건물을 전면적인 재건축하여 2016년 1월 새로 문을 열었다. 현대적인 건축물과 편안한 삶의 분위기가 이루는 조화가 인상적이다. 차가운 콘크리트가 따뜻한 떡갈나무에 녹아들고, 두드러지는 선이 화려한 킬림(Kilim) 카페트와 어우러진다. 독특한 리넨 시트와 스탭들이 입은 스위스 디자인의 제복은 아름다운 최고급 수공예품이다. 전 세계의 음식을 맛볼 수 있는 패셔너블한 "이터리(Eatery)" 레스토랑에서는 주말이면 라이브 밴드가 공연을 펼친다. 호텔은 스위스 건축 박물관과 매우 가까이에 있다.

By public transport: Coming from the airport/Bahnhof SBB: Bus 50 towards Basel SBB, Bahnhof until the final stop. Tram 2 towards Riehen, Dorf, tram 8 towards Basel, Kleinhüningen, tram 10 towards Ettingen or tram 11 towards St-Louis Grenze until the stop Bankverein. Approximately 20 minutes. Coming from Badischer Bahnhof: Tram 2 towards Binningen, Kronenplatz until the stop Bankverein. Approximately 7 minutes. By car, via highway A2/A3 Exit Basel-City. Right towards Basel-Süd. Follow the road and right onto Aeschenplatz, keep left. Straight ahead onto Brunngässlein and slightly left. The hotel is on your left. Via highway A5 Exit 4 Birsfelden. Straight ahead towards Birsfelden. Keep left towards Birsfelden. Right onto Zürcherstrasse. Follow the road onto St. Alban-Anlage. Right onto Brunngässlein and slightly left onto Brunngässlein.
