The Seehotel Waldstätterhof in Brunnen impresses with its fantastic location directly on the shores of Lake Lucerne, in the middle of a beautiful, small and private park, with a view of the Uri Alps. Located within sight of the Rütli meadow, this place evokes memories of the history of Switzerland, prehistoric times and their myths. The Waldstätterhof lakeside hotel boasts a 140-year-old tradition of first-class hospitality. The great and the good from aristocracy, politics, business and culture have all been our guests here, including Queen Victoria, King Alfonso of Spain, Sir Winston Churchill and the novelists Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Hermann Hesse. The present-day hotel has been renovated from top to bottom, and has been equipped with Wi-Fi throughout without losing any of its fin-de siècle charm. Our guests are greeted and attended to by a young, cheerful staff, who are eager to be of service. The Waldstätterhof occupies a captivating and awe-inspiring location on the cusp between Lake Lucerne and Lake Uri, surrounded by a beautiful private park and with views of the Alps of the canton of Uri. Situated within sight of the historic Rütli Meadow, this place awakens memories of the Swiss Confederation's genesis back in the mists of time, interwoven with myths and legends.
