Intro
Climbing in autumn? Or in winter? No problem in Ticino! In the Maggia Valley near Ponte Brolla, there are boulders that are becoming increasingly popular with sport climbers.
The climbing practice walls are an ideal place to get to grips with climbing. At the same time, experienced climbers will always find new challenges. There are around 250 routes – ranging in difficulty from 2b to 7a.
After the sport, the Maggia and a refreshing dip await. Or a cosy visit to a grotto. Overnight accommodation is available around the crag and in nearby Locarno.
