The “d’Grandfey”, a proud 12-seater boat powered by electric solar energy, offers a pleasure trip service between Schiffenen and the city of Fribourg (Neigles) and back.
The city of Fribourg also has a lake, after all! Climb on board for a picturesque cruise on the “d’Grandfey”, a 12-seater solar-powered boat.
With a single trip lasting around one and a half hours, you’ll have plenty of time to contemplate the stunning scenery from the Schiffenen artificial lake, which was created in 1963 at the same time as the dam of the same name.
During this unique, relaxing journey, you’ll learn about the heritage along the lake shore (the dam, castles, a hermitage and bridges) to the soothing sound of lapping water.
