Enjoy a unique experience on the frozen mountain lake, where you can practice your pirouettes surrounded by dreamlike scenery. When the ice is thick enough, the lake is officially approved for playing hockey, skating, walking, Bavarian curling, or simply as a place where you can pass away the time. Bavarian curling is a traditional sport. It is like Boccia on ice. Anyone can take part and it is easy to learn. Ice skates and hockey sticks are available for hire from Side Cut Sports and Aeby Skivermietung. Bavarian curling equipment can be hired at the Hostellerie am Schwarzsee.
