알프스 주변의 선사시대 수상가옥들은 2010년부터 공식적으로 유네스코 세계 유적지로 인정받게 되었다.

불어로 시간의 도시라는 뜻의 ‘시테 뒤 텅(Cité du Temps)’은 세계 시계 생산의 수도인 빌(Biel) 한복판에 있다.

슈트란트보덴(Strandboden) 지역은 빌 호수 바로 옆에 위치해 있다. 지역 사람들이 바쁜 일상에서 벗어나 여유로운 분위기를 즐기는 곳이다.

1950년과 60년대의 건축양식으로 지어졌던 콩그레스 센터(Congress Center)는 빌/비엔느(Biel/Bienne)시의 중심에 있으며, 2001년에서 2002년까지 개조를 거쳐 도시를 대표하는 건물이 되었다. 인상적인 모습의 지붕 아래에는 놀라울 만큼 다양한 문화 및 상업 행사부터 피트니스와 레저활동에 이르기까지 모든 것이 한 곳에 모여있다.

The Taubenlochschlucht, one of the most picturesque gorges in the Jura, is both a natural spectacle and a witness to industrial history. Fortified by castles, it had long been established as a trade route when industrialisation began. Along with the industrial buildings came roads, tunnels, railways and canals, together with a wide variety of bridges and walkways.
