The rustic yet modern Baden Youth Hostel is housed in a former stable block on the banks of the River Limmat, only a stone’s throw from the magnificent old town. The youth hostel is easily accessible, whether you’re travelling by public transport, on horseback or by bike along Swiss Cycle Routes 5 or 66. It is centrally located and the perfect starting point for all kinds of activities. Hop on board the Swiss Northern Railway, informally known as the Spanisch-Brötli-Bahn (literally Spanish bread roll railway) after a Baden pastry speciality. Or you could stroll through the magnificent old town, experience an abundance of cultural delights or bathe in some of the many thermal springs. It’s easy to get swept away by the charming spa town of Baden, which will leave you feeling in a great mood and eager to explore more of its wonders!
