Intro

Historic mountain hotel sitting at an altitude of 2,222 metres in the middle of the Engelberg-Titlis ski region, which can only be reached on foot or by gondola lift and chair lift. A rustic and youthful atmosphere surrounded by mountain scenery. Cosy rooms with one to ten beds, accommodating up to 100 guests. The kitchen serves up regional dishes such as Urner Häfelichabis (lamb and cabbage stew). Large sun terrace. Various events, including descents at full moon, the Alpine carnival and concerts. Bike Hotels and Lodgings

Innovative mountain hotel in a beautiful, car-free location, with two flow trails and a nature trail right outside your door. Shuttle and chair lift. The hut warden is a passionate cyclist with knowledge of hidden trails. Personal guide upon request. Gourmet treats: four-course evening meals, an exquisite wine list, home-made fruit cakes, and pasta and regional specialities. Cosy rooms with one to ten beds, accommodating up to 100 guests. Battery charger, overnight laundry service. Workshop at the hotel. Pets welcome.

The Bärghuis was fully renovated in summer 2014 and was reclassified to the Swiss Lodge category. The rooms now offer plenty of Alpine charm and contemporary comfort. The Stübli restaurant was renovated with aged wood from the local Trübsee area; it offers table service, high-quality food, and delicious drinks from the cellar. The monastery village of Engelberg at 1000 m above sea level is accessible via the A2 motorway – via the Stans Süd exit. After about 25 minutes of driving along the cantonal road, you will reach Engelberg. You can park your car right at the valley station of the Titlis Bergbahnen.
