4th International Vintage VW Meeting – Murten
Overview
Intro
The International Vintage VW Meeting in Murten is a unique event dedicated to enthusiasts of air-cooled Volkswagen vehicles.
With up to 120 cars from across Europe, it offers an impressive journey through time, showcasing classic VW models such as the Beetle, Karmann Ghia, and Type 2 up to 1967. The event emphasizes authenticity but is not a concours—vehicles in any condition are welcome.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Murten, enthusiasts, collectors, and visitors gather in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. A separate parking area is available for additional air-cooled VWs.
Participants can register their vehicles, and volunteers are also welcome to help make the event possible. Visitors are encouraged to use nearby parking areas and take shuttle buses to the venue.
