Advent im Naturzentrum
Overview
Intro
On the first Sunday of Advent, we cordially invite you to explore the lives of animals in winter. Free guided tours, interactive exhibits, and holiday treats await you.
During the cold season, nature takes on a charm all its own. Many plants—and even some animals—take a break now. Beavers, on the other hand, seem to be especially active in winter.
On a guided tour along our nature trail, you’ll learn in a fun way how local animals hibernate and what habitats they need to do so. For example, where have all the frogs gone, why aren’t there any dragonflies flying around, and why are there fresh beaver tracks everywhere right now? At our annual event on the first Sunday of Advent, you can enjoy a free guided tour and interactive exhibits about beavers and animal tracks.
In addition to delicious coffee and hot chocolate, our café will also be serving mulled wine, mulled cider, and Christmas cookies on this day. And perhaps you’ll even find the perfect Christmas gift in our shop. We look forward to seeing you!
