The charming Christmas market on Kirchstrasse and Rössligasse invites you to explore, browse, and enjoy. Numerous market stalls featuring handmade and regional products, culinary delights, and a varied program of events create a festive pre-Christmas atmosphere right in the heart of Andermatt.
There’s plenty for young visitors to discover, too: a nostalgic carousel, a small petting zoo, and storytime sessions keep things interesting. The Christmas market is accompanied by music from a small ensemble of the Seedorfer Brass Band. Molly the marmot will also be stopping by.
Schedule:
- 11:00 a.m.: Opening of the Christmas market on Rössli- and Kirchgasse
- 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.: Small goat petting zoo (weather permitting)
- 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.: Free nostalgic carousel
- 1:30 p.m.: Storytime for children at the village schoolhouse’s kindergarten
- 1:30–3:30 p.m.: Christmas carols performed by a small ensemble from the Seedorf Brass Band
- 2:30 p.m.: Storytime for children at the village schoolhouse’s kindergarten
- 3:00–4:00 p.m.: Molly the marmot visits the Christmas market
