The world is vibrating – tune in to the movement!
From May 6 to 10, 2026, Festa danzante comes to life in 44 locations across Switzerland, creating spaces for encounter and sharing. In Ticino, the event involves six cities, with Lugano as its epicenter. A rich and varied program awaits us, with courses, performances, and extraordinary parties: let's make room for creativity and let ourselves be amazed! This year, Dance on Tour brings 13 companies on a nationwide tour, with four of them performing in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Lugano will host POLEIDOSKOP by the Compagnie O. from Zurich, a nighttime performance in which the audience will experience amplified sensory perceptions, as they are felt by people with autism or ADHD. Dance takes place in squares, parks, and museums. Let yourself be swept up in the rhythm… come take your first dance steps, discover new dance styles, and enjoy intense and moving artistic performances. For all those who wish to celebrate and live it with enthusiasm, energy, and joy, Dance Festival offers an explosion of colors!
Prices
- A pass costing CHF 25.– (free for under-16s) grants access to all events throughout Switzerland
- Admission to individual events is CHF 15.– (CHF 13.– with a MyLugano Card, MyLugano Pass, Isadora. Piattaforma danza or ChiassoLetteraria discount)
