Experience authentic Valaisan Alpine traditions from the past and present!
The annual Grand Alpine Festival kicks off with an invigorating open-air mass, accompanied by music from a yodeling group.
Another highlight of the day is the grand parade featuring various groups and magnificently decorated floats themed around tradition, modernity, culture, and contemporary life on the alp.
The festivities then continue with lively entertainment provided by the clubs, featuring folk music, yodeling, traditional costumes, and dancing, as well as the traditional stone-throwing competition.
