Overview
Intro
Two instruments, two voices— and one shared soul.
As the duo EXPROMPT, Olga and Aleksei Kleshchenko tell musical stories that range from the warmth of Russian folk music to the elegance of the classical masters.
Traditional melodies blend with works by Bartók, Mozart, Daquin, and Rimsky-Korsakov to create a musical language that sounds both familiar and surprisingly fresh.
Amid delicate runs and lyrical moments, a special atmosphere emerges in which music becomes a story told without words.
The two musicians—graduates of state conservatories in Karelia and long-standing members of the EXPROMPT ensemble—
have performed at festivals such as the Rheingau Music Festival, the Hohenlohe Cultural Summer, the Eltville Burghofspiele, and the Brucknerhaus Linz.
With subtle sensitivity and great expressiveness, they evoke moods ranging from joie de vivre to melancholy and poetry—sometimes virtuosic, sometimes heartfelt, always immediate.
An evening that demonstrates how two worlds of stringed instruments become a single heartbeat.
