Intro
Free music festival in Lens.
The Epiconik Festival, organised by the Lens-Icogne Youth Association, celebrates its 10th edition this year. For the past decade, this free event has brought together local residents from the Haut-Plateau and visitors of all ages in a friendly, festive and intimate atmosphere.
On 10 and 11 July, the Place de l'École in Lens will come alive with two evenings of free live music, from 18:00 to 02:00. Ten acts from French-speaking Switzerland will take to the stage, including Jool & The Coolz, Les Singes à Plumes, Lewis Legacy, Elias D, Sahel, Loris Mittaz and Luciomobil. Between sets, Jobi+joba and Joyce & Cool Cat will keep the energy flowing behind the decks.
On Saturday afternoon, the traditional jass tournament will take place from 14:00 to 18:00. Registration is available on the festival website, before another evening of music gets under way.
With free entry, food available on site and a bar, the Epiconik Festival remains true to its mission: creating a moment for sharing, musical discovery and meeting others in the heart of the Haut-Plateau.
