Festa delle streghe

The festival draws inspiration from the figures of the witch and the sorcerer as guardians of ancient knowledge, deeply connected to nature, herbs, the cycles of the seasons, and folk traditions.

The festival will open on Friday evening with a celebration led by Simone Hortig. It will continue on Saturday afternoon with a fireside ceremony led by Alba Luna Fancini and the Bigondo group, followed by two evening concerts. At 6:30 pm, the international group Kairasila will kick off the music, followed by the Ticino band ABC, known for their energetic and festive sound blending reggae, funk, Balkan, and international influences. An evening to be enjoyed together with music, dancing, and sharing.

On Sunday, the forest will come alive from the morning with the opening ceremony led by Hans Hunger, a free lunch, craft markets, natural remedies, and local products, a holistic treatment area, workshops, and activities for adults and children. Among the activities offered will be guided wild herb picking and the preparation of a special herbal tea.

The Festa delle streghe is intended to be an experience to be shared, where nature, creativity, and community intertwine, offering a time and space to gather and celebrate the arrival of autumn.
