Vilde Frang presents a programme between Norwegian sound worlds and Hungarian modernism with works by Ysaÿe, Brustad and Kodály.

In this chamber music evening, Artist in Residence 2026 Vilde Frang explores musical dream worlds. The programme connects Nordic sonic imagery with works shaped by dense textures, vivid colours and folkloric influences.

The selection ranges from Ysaÿe’s expansive sound world to Bjarne Brustad’s Capricci inspired by Norwegian folk music, and Kodály’s Serenade, praised by Béla Bartók as a genuine expression of Hungarian culture.
