Movement – Stillness – Freedom

Freedom Lies Between Movement and Stillness

Daniela Bosshard is exhibiting her works at the Kemptnertobel Gallery in Wetzikon. What moves us? When do we find peace? And what does freedom mean to the individual? The artist Daniela Bosshard, from Seegräben, explores these questions in her exhibition “Movement, Stillness, Freedom.” Her works will be on view at the Kemptnertobel Gallery in Wetzikon from October 2 through 18, 2026.

Movement and stillness seem to be opposites. Yet sometimes it is precisely in pausing that we find the strength for a new beginning. Freedom, in turn, can mean moving, overcoming boundaries—or consciously standing still. These different states and their subtle transitions form the conceptual space within which Daniela Bosshard’s works operate. Her works invite viewers to let their gaze wander, to pause, and to engage in a personal encounter with the art. The goal is not to find a definitive answer. Rather, each image opens up its own space for thoughts, feelings, and individual interpretations.

Opening Reception with Music and Refreshments

The exhibition opens on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Angelika Domenig will deliver the opening remarks. Musical performances will accompany the opening reception and provide a special setting for the evening. A reception following the opening will offer an opportunity for personal conversation with the

artist and the guests. The opening reception will last until approximately 9:00 p.m.

Closing Reception on October 18

To mark the end of the exhibition, Daniela Bosshard invites you to the closing reception on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Once again, this will be an opportunity to view the works at your leisure, talk with the artist, and bring the exhibition to a close together.

Daniela Bosshard is delighted to use her work to create a space where movement is possible—but so is stillness. A space where the eye can linger, and perhaps it is precisely this that gives rise to a sense of freedom.

You are warmly welcome!
