Museum in the arsenal
Overview
Intro
From March 21 until the end of October, the museum will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Schaffhausen and Diessenhofen locations.
The Museum im Zeughaus provides knowledge and historical context on the military, political and social development of Switzerland and its army. It also shows the technical development of the Swiss army's equipment and weaponry in the 19th and 20th centuries. The museum presents six exhibitions and the display depot of the historical Karl Bauert collection in the historic buildings of the Cantonal Armory. At the new location in Diessenhofen, the exhibitions are "Motorization and Mechanization of the Swiss Army" and "Anti-Tank Defence".

Free admission for members of the Museum im Zeughaus association, Museum Pass holders and Raiffeisen Card holders.
