Après la mort de son fils lors d’un accident de voiture, le pilote Roger Rey s’occupe de son épouse Marylou. Trente ans plus tard, cette dernière décède en lui demandant de reprendre les courses en son honneur. Mais Roger a 84 ans et sa voiture en a 40.
