Simmentaler Open Stage

“Stage set!” in Kronengärtli in Lenk

Under the motto “Stage set!”, Lenk-Simmental Tourism invites you for the first time to the “Simmental Open Stage” in the Kronengärtli in front of the Hotel Krone in Lenk on August 1, 2026. With this new event format, the destination creates a platform for regional talents, musical encounters, and creative performances. The “Simmental Open Stage” is to be held twice a year in the future, each as part of the KulturSommer (in spring) and KulturWinter (in autumn), at changing gastronomy locations in the Simmental. Admission is free. The event in the Kronengärtli starts at 6 p.m. Local gastronomy will provide refreshments.

Whether it’s yodeling, singing, poetry slam, guitar, or other creative performances: The Open Stage primarily targets locals, but also warmly welcomes second homeowners and guests. Each person receives a time slot of about ten minutes. The first edition is themed “Love for Home.” Technical equipment such as microphones, speakers, and a small pop-up stage will be organized. Participants should bring their own instruments and props. A moderator will charmingly guide the event and ensure a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The audience can look forward to a varied and diverse program. Note: Political, racist, or sexist content is not allowed to be presented.
