As the director of a nursing home, Marie-Lou tries to introduce the innovative care philosophy known as “Humanitude”—which is based on listening and respecting the dignity of the residents—despite the reservations of some members of her team. Her encounter with Mari, a Japanese director battling cancer, will fundamentally change the course of her life. Bound by a deep friendship, the two women join forces to “make the impossible possible.”
