Transhumance Festival
Overview
Intro
For the third year running, the Naye sheepfold's flock will be transhuming from Mollens to Vercorin.
* From 12pm: Food and drink stalls: sausage and meat from the sheepfold, raclette.
* From 12pm: Woolis (workshop and wool valorization) and Edelalp (sponsor your cow or sheep) stands.
* Arrival of the flock (over 400 sheep) in the village around 1:30pm.
* From 2:30pm: sheep-shearing demonstration, wool spinning with Catherine Lambert, children's crafts with ASCAVE.
* 2.30 - 3.30 pm: Concert with Sophie De Quay.
Let's give the sheep a warm but gentle welcome... To ensure that everything runs smoothly, please come without your dogs and do not pet the animals or cross the flock.
We ask you to come without your dogs for the smooth running of the event.
Between 1.30pm and 2pm, traffic will be disrupted at certain points for a short time (see map below).
