Fine arts, photography and contemporary art brought together in one single spot near Lausanne station, in a cultural area that is unique in Switzerland.
Plateforme 10, a new 25,000 m2 arts district a few steps from Lausanne’s railway station, brings together the Musée cantonal des Beaux-Arts (MCBA), Photo Elysée and the mudac, Museum of Contemporary Design and Applied Arts.
The MCBA building, designed by the architects Barozzi Veiga, opened in October 2019. The Photo Elysée and mudac building, designed by the architects Aires Mateus, was inaugurated in June 2022.
