Lago Bianco & Lago Nero (2,300 m) لمحة سريعة عن

Lago Bianco

The lake is fed by glacial meltwater, also known as glacial milk, which contains silt.  This gives the lake its milky white colour. Lago Bianco is a reservoir and a water divide. The water flows into the Black Sea to the east and into the Adriatic to the south.

Lago Nero

The black lake, Lej Nair in Romansh, is fed by small streams free from glacier meltwater. This gives the water its blue or dark-blue to black colour. Fishing is also permitted in the trout-filled Lej Nair.
