Experiences in Engelberg

With its bouncy castles and rope park, Globi’s Alpine Playground at Ristis in the Engelberg Valley is a great place for the kids to let off steam. The adjacent White Water World is suitable for those who are not scared of the water.

Hidden between Ristis and the mountain hut at Brunni, the 11 stories that Globi has written for his book have been stolen. All the children are invited to set off on the treasure hunt to find chests in which clues have been concealed that they use to track down the stolen stories.

An unforgettable experience, pure adventure; that is Flying Fox. On the six courses of varying difficulty you can slowly approach your limits. You cross challenging balance bridges, hanging bridges and tyrolean slides loaded with action.

A unique place for lovers of Swiss cheese culture has been created between the old monastery walls. Here you can discover regional cheeses and handmade farm products from the Engelberg Valley. The integrated bistro guarantees some moments of pleasure with cheese, wine or coffee. The Mitmach – Chäsi (interactive cheese dairy) offers almost unobstructed insights into cheese production.

The journey from Engelberg to Ristis serves as the starting point of the Walenpfad, a popular high-altitude hike from Ristis to Bannalp. The cable car ride up to Ristis, featuring breathtaking mountain panoramas, is worth the trip itself.

The journey to the Titlis is truly an adventure in itself. First take the Titlis Xpress gondola to the middle station, then continue your journey in the TITLIS Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car, all the way to the top.

The Kitzelpfad (tickle path) offers a thrill of a special kind at the mountain station of the Brunni chair lift. The barefoot path around the idyllic Härzli lake, situated at 1860 meters above sea level, is unique in these mountains.

The tin toboggan on the Brunni is located at an altitude of 1600 m right next to the mountain station of the Brunni cable car and the Ristis Restaurant.
