Experiences in Lenk i.S. (Lenk im Simmental)

Wallbach Gorge is a cool tip for a hot day. The wide stream bed at the end of the falls and the outdoor grill are both enjoyable places to spend time.

Seven springs feed the Simme, a 55km-long river in the Bernese Oberland that flows into Lake Thun at Wimmis. The waterfalls that cascade over rocks several metres high are also well worth a visit.

The Marmot Trail on Betelberg Mountain leads from the Leiterli top station to the Stoss midway station (3 km, approx. 1.5 hours.)

From Wimmis to the Lenk. The cows of the Simmental Valley are world-famous. Mountain farming brought early riches to the valley. Simmental's farm houses bear witness to this wealth.
