With nearly 350 years of history, the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois is one of Europe’s most storied city hotels. Following a two‑year transformation, the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois celebrated a new chapter in summer 2025 with the reopening of its historic head building, reimagined by the renowned Basel‑based architects Herzog & de Meuron. At its centre: a sculptural bar beneath a poetic ceiling installation by artist duo Gerda Steiner & Jörg Lenzlinger.
