MS Murten – Evening cruise on Lake Murten

The White Brunch & Party in Murten is a unique summer event held in the historic old town.

Since 1930, a shooting day has been organised on Sunday 22 June or the Sunday following that date, in memory of the Battle of Murten (1476).

On Sunday, June 21, 2026, World Yoga Day will be celebrated around Lake Murten.

The Youth Festival commemorates the 1476 Battle of Morat/Murten. The colorful Youth Festival features many activities and the finely decorated city fountains.

This coming summer, the Battle of Murten will return to the stage. The focus this time is not on the fighting in the field, but on the perspective of the people who were trapped inside the town.
