L'escursione attraversa i tipici boschi di pino mugo passando per il punto panoramico di Margunet, dove, con un po' di fortuna, si possono avvistare camosci, cervi o gipeti. La discesa ci porta nella Val dal Botsch.

L’escursione si svolge perlopiù senza grandi salite o discese, può essere intrapresa anche in condizioni di cattivo tempo e offre svariate possibilità per osservare animali e piante.
